Hyssop herb, which is also known as Holy herb, Hastipippili, Hisopo and Hyssopus officinalis, is commonly used for coughs, bronchitis and chronic catarrh. Its diaphoretic properties make it useful for those suffering from the common cold, and as a nervine it may be used for anxiety. (Please note: it should not be used during pregnancy).
